On 2013 November 2 at 11:00 am at the Calvinistic Primary and Kindergarten School of Balmazújváros a table tennis exhibition was held with the Hungarian National team players in Table Tennis – organized by the BAKI Association.

The program was launched at the proposal of the local youth who are enthusiastic members of the BAKI Association’s ping - pong club and enjoy the pleasures of the game week after week. The aim of the event was not just to exchange experience, but to address the young people and adults of Balmazújváros who also practice this sport in some form.

The event took place in a good mood thanks to the guests – Ádám Pattantyús and Dániel Kriston – who had involved the guests in the warm up and gave them useful advices. After this they held a presentation where they enthusiastically explained to the participants the different styles of play, and slapping forms. The third part of the program was the free play, where the visitors of the event could play against Ádám Pattantyús and Dániel Kriston which allowed individual consulting as well. Our guests held impromptu competitions to their fans, where the winners were rewarded with gifts. The day was closed with a discussion where anyone could ask their questions, and they got an open and honest answer.

The players also told us: they are very glad that there are young people who organize these kind or similar events for the community. They will return gladly to our city, to provide more and more children and young people with advice on how to play the game. They also told their hosts that in our city there are some real gems who in the future could serve as replacements for the Hungarian Table Tennis Association.
