On the afternoon of 21 December 2013 our association’s community space was filled with child laughter again. The Christmas for the Big Families event was held for the fourth time, where we entertain families at the approaching holidays who have three or more children in their household, who face difficulties during their everyday life. Following the tradition of previous years, the organizers have shown again that unity moves mountains. The assistance of the Semmelweis Nurse Association, the BAKI Association, the Maltese Charity Service Organization in Balmazújváros, the Balmazújvaros Territorial Organization of the Hungarian Red Cross, the Hungarian Baptist Church day-care in Balmazújváros for Addicts, the Blessing Baptist Congregation of Újfehértó and the CÉLBAKISÉR Civil Association we were able to host and provide gifts for nearly ninety families. For each participating family we were able to give packages compiled by the organizations containing basic edibles, clothing, fruits, and other surprises and not least many-many games for the children. For our guests we served cakes, scones and tea, the intimate mood was provided by our associations younglings and the BAKI Guitar Club. With their very beautiful musical show they were able to tear up many of the attendants and reminded us of the importance of turning toward each other. This memorable evening for everyone was closed by Csaba Karancsi Baptist pastor’s festive greeting. In this way we thank the performing young people, the organizers, the individuals and the organizations who have supported our event with their offerings. We hope to see you at the same place next year.
